7weven's Service to Global Charities

As part of your business with us, we are proud to tell you that 10% of our profits from every transaction will be donated to one of the following charities of your choice.

As global citizens, we are perceptive of the ongoing challenges that every community is facing. That’s why we decided to take the initiative and support the hardworking charities that are fighting hard to bring about positive change in every aspect of our lives.

How does it work? Well, we will do all the work. All you have to do is simply go about your transaction and before you proceed to checkout, simply select from one of the charities or causes of your choice (or if you’d like, we can pick one for you). Once the transaction is complete, we will make the necessary arrangements to send the donation on your behalf at the end of every month.

1. Our first charity option is Direct Relief. Direct Relief is an organization that provides medical and emergency relief to more than 80 countries worldwide. We recognize that in order for a community to get through the COVID-19 pandemic, they need essential medical resources which are limited in supply. The work of Direct Relief makes sure to watch over the countries that are left behind. In addition to COVID-19 relief, they are also very responsive to disaster and medical emergencies (such as their $11 million aid in the aftermath of the Lebanon explosions). With your donation to Direct Relief, you can rest assured that your donation will help someone in significant distress.

2. Our second charity option is Save the Children. With operations in more than 120 countries, Save the Children provides essential economic, medical, and education relief for children around the world. In addition to providing direct aid, Save the Children is one of the most influential policy advocates, to the extent that they have been awarded a general consultative status in the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

3. The third option is the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), which is an environmental advocacy group based in the U.S. With over 3 million members, they are committed to preserving the air, water, and food worldwide. They are also leaders in the fight against climate change. NRDC staff include lawyers that handle the legal front as well as scientists to fund scientific projects and find innovative solutions.

4. Our fourth option is Black Lives Matter (BLM). BLM is both a social movement and an organization with the same name. BLM is dedicated to non-violent protesting of anti-black racism and violence. While the organization started in the US, it is now an international movement with recognition world-wide. In addition to organizing events of civil disobedience, BLM partners with community leaders to advocate for more racially inclusive policies as well as disseminates resources and organizes events for raising awareness.

5. Our fifth option is the charity Rise Against Hunger. The organization’s mission is to provide food and life-changing aid to people living in poverty around the globe. With its over 400,000 volunteers, Rise Against Hunger has an ambitious plan to end global hunger by the year 2030. Consider donating to Rise Against Hunger to help them achieve their goal.

Why bespoke clothing?

Finding the perfect fit with off-the-rack clothes can be difficult at times. Most of us are aware of how troublesome it can be to roam through crowded stores and try on multiple items until finding something that fits reasonably well. Alterations to off-the-rack clothing is an option that is available, but the alteration bill can drastically increase the total cost of the item.

Custom clothing can potentially help solve this issue. 7weven’s trained professional fashion designers and tailors focus on the individuals’ specific requirements including the fabric, style and other personal custom requirements (e.g., style of neckline and sleeves length of a dress/top) in order to ensure that our clients receive clothes that are truly made just for them!
